Nike designer Tinker Hatfield was said to have been influenced by the Centre Pompidou when creating the Air Max 1. The suede and leather upper is lined with red, yellow and green details that mimic the external piping of the iconic structure, while a multicolored pattern and ‘P’ emblem cover the translucent sole.
